These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of KAAM Today (“KAAM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). KAAM is operated by Basir Mahmood in the Netherlands.
By creating an account or using KAAM, you agree to these Terms of Use and the KAAM Privacy Policy.
1. About KAAM
KAAM is a platform where people find work, find each other, learn, communicate and play. Users can create profiles with a title for their job, skill, business or service, find people, post and discover work, share stories and portfolio posts, message and call each other, teach and join classrooms, play games and listen to KAAM Radio.
KAAM provides the platform but does not employ users, act as an employment agency, represent users or become a party to agreements between users.
2. Eligibility
KAAM is primarily intended for users aged 18 and over.
If you are under 18, you may use KAAM only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. KAAM may restrict or remove an account if its use could place a minor at risk or violate applicable law.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your account details current. Your account is personal, and you are responsible for activity conducted through it.
You must not:
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Create a misleading or fraudulent identity.
- Use another person’s phone number or account without permission.
- Allow another person to misuse your account.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to KAAM or another account.
Contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Professional profiles and information
You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, profession, skills, experience, availability, location, work photographs, links and other information you provide.
KAAM does not independently verify every identity, qualification, work history, job posting or claim made by a user. You should conduct appropriate checks before agreeing to work, meeting someone or making a payment.
5. Acceptable use and safety
You must treat other users respectfully and use KAAM lawfully.
The following are prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats or intimidation.
- Hate speech or discrimination.
- Scams, fraud, impersonation or deceptive activity.
- Sexual exploitation or content involving minors.
- Sexually explicit or nude material.
- Graphic violence or encouragement of violence.
- Illegal, abusive or dangerously misleading content.
- Content intended to incite religious hatred or violence.
- Unlawful employment, exploitation or trafficking.
- Requests for passwords or one-time verification codes.
- Copyright or intellectual-property infringement.
- Malware, spam, automated scraping or interference with the service.
Do not send money, share sensitive personal information or agree to unsafe working conditions without appropriate verification.
Users can report content or accounts and block other users. KAAM may investigate reports and remove content, limit features, suspend accounts or permanently remove accounts where reasonably necessary.
6. Jobs and collaborations
Users are responsible for agreeing directly on:
- Fees and payment arrangements.
- Working hours and conditions.
- Location and travel.
- Responsibilities and deliverables.
- Insurance, permits and safety.
- Copyright and other intellectual-property rights.
- Cancellation and dispute arrangements.
- Any applicable taxes or legal obligations.
KAAM does not guarantee that a person is qualified, available, trustworthy or suitable, or that an opportunity is genuine, lawful, safe or paid.
KAAM is not responsible for completing, supervising or enforcing an agreement between users.
7. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit to KAAM.
You must only upload or share content that you own or have permission to use. You remain responsible for your content and for ensuring that it does not violate the rights of another person.
By submitting content, you give KAAM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, reproduce and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide the service. This licence ends when the content or account is deleted, except where temporary technical processing is required to complete deletion.
Voice messages are automatically deleted after 30 days. Text messages remain available until they or the associated account are deleted.
8. Location
Location access is optional. KAAM reads your location only after you choose to enable the feature.
Your exact coordinates are kept private and are used to rank suitable people and opportunities by proximity. Other users may see only an approximate distance when you enable nearby visibility.
You can disable nearby visibility or delete your saved location through the app’s location settings.
9. Reports, blocking and moderation
You may report content, activity or users that you believe violate these Terms. You may block a user to prevent further direct contact.
KAAM may review relevant account or content information when investigating a report. We may take action where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, comply with law or enforce these Terms.
Submitting knowingly false or abusive reports is prohibited.
10. Account suspension and deletion
You may permanently delete your account through the Me section of the app.
We may warn, restrict, suspend or delete an account that seriously or repeatedly violates these Terms, creates safety risks or is used unlawfully.
Account deletion removes the profile and associated personal data, including stored messages, photographs, voice messages, location and notification subscriptions. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
11. Calls, classrooms, games and radio
Audio and video calls and live classrooms are delivered in real time and are not recorded by KAAM unless a feature clearly says so. Be respectful, and do not record other people without their consent.
Make a Move games, including card games, are played for points only. There is no money, betting or prize of monetary value, and points cannot be bought, sold or exchanged.
KAAM Radio plays live streams provided by third-party radio stations. KAAM does not control or endorse their content, and a station may be unavailable at times.
12. KAAM Pro and paid announcements
KAAM is free for everyday use, with limits on some features during each personal 30-day period. KAAM Pro is an optional subscription that removes these limits and adds features such as a WhatsApp-verified phone number that people can call from a business profile. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, Google or our web checkout, renew until cancelled, and can be managed in your store account.
Business accounts with KAAM Pro may request a paid announcement sent by Kaam-Se to KAAM members. Every request is reviewed; you are charged only if it is approved, and KAAM may decline any announcement.
13. Service availability
We aim to keep KAAM secure and available, but we do not guarantee that the service will always operate without interruption, delay or error.
Features may be changed, improved, limited or discontinued as KAAM develops. We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
14. Disclaimer and responsibility
KAAM is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee employment, income, payments, responses, search positions, identity verification, user conduct or the suitability of any person or opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, KAAM is not responsible for indirect losses or for disputes, payments, conduct, agreements or work performed between users.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as KAAM develops or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate method.
Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them. If you do not agree, you should stop using KAAM and delete your account.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country of residence.
